A ceremony of a very pleasing character took place in St. Matthias' Church, Panmure, on Wednesday, the 24bh of April, namely, the marriage of Miss M. Cawkwell, third daughter of the late Mr. Thomas Cawkwell, of I'anmure, to Mr. E. D. Murray, of Waikato. The church was tastefully decorated for the occasion with pono-a and small ferns, laurel, and parti - coloured flowers, white predominating. The Rev. F. Gould performed the service, which was partly choral.
