THE WAIPIRO MURDERER.
CONFESSION OF GUILT. [BY TELEGRAPH. —PRESS ASSOCIATION.] is borne, Friday. This afternoon Haera Te Piri, condemned to death for the murder of thePook family, confessed to Mohi Tureri, native clergyman, that he committed the deed, and stated he had no accomplice. At an interview with his father lie did not deny his guilt, and said, "I am sad in heart. From earth I came, to earth I return." The prisoner leaves this afternoon for Napier.
