WHARFAGE CHARGES AT LYT TELTON.
[BY TELEGRAPH.—PRESS ASSOCIATION.] CiteiSTCirup.cn, Thursday. A special meeting of the Lyttelton Mat\ bour Board was held to-day to consider the reduction on the wharfage charge. It was decided to reduce as follows : —SO per cent, on coal, grain, and agricultural produce, inoluding frozen meat, and also exempt all ballast, rubbish, and firewood, and reduce the charges on general merchandise by twenty-five per cent. The total reductions represent, according to last year's figures, about £6300.
