DUNEDIN EXHIBITION.

Sydney, March 26. The Sydney Daily Telegraph, in the course of an article this morning, referring to the New Zealand Exhibition to be held at Dunedin, says : —" It is full time the Government of New South Wales called a halt on expenditure in connection with exhibitions. The exhibition to be held at Dunedin is a purely business affair, and it is unlikely that New South Wales will reap any commercial advantage therefrom. NewSouth Wales," the article proceeds, " is New Zealand's best customer, yet the latter's treatment of the colony by the attempted exclusion of the only export, namely, coal, showed that in the near future that article was pretty certain to be shut out of New Zealand altogether in favour of Westport and Russell coal." The Telegraph expresses the hope that the Government of New South Wales will decline to be officially represented at the New Zealand Exhibition.

Dunedin, Tuesday. The New South Wales Government have granted the official ageDt of the Exhibition in that colony the free use of offices in the Government Buildings. It is probable the Government will reconsider the question of official representation, if a large number of exhibitors are anxious to be represented.
