M. PASTEUR'S EXPERIMENTS. Sydney, March 26. The Government have received a communication from M. Pasteur, declining to permit his representatives to vaccinate sheep as a precaution against anthrax, unless the Government allow the recent experiments in connection with the extermination of rabbits to be dealt with on their merits. SYDNEY WHEAT MARKET. ►Sydney, March 26. Wheat is easier. Adelaide and Victorian is 5s 3d to 5s 6d ; New Zealand 4s 9d to ss. * minincTswindle. Adelaide, March. 26. The Great Northern Mining Company requested the Government inspector to visit the mine, and supplied him with specimens formed of alluvial gold glued on to quartz. The discovery of the swindle has caused a great sensation, as the shares were recently sold for £22 each.
