BANKRUPTCY.
DEBTOR'S EXAMINATION. R. W. Browne.—R. W. Browne, bankrupt, deposed before the Official Assignee yesterday that he had followed the calling of horse-trainer for the past five years. He was the owner of the horse Kenilworth, and in January last judgment; was giveu against witness ab Paeroa on the ground thab his horse had caused the death of Libeller, Mi. Dickey's horse, with which it had been stabled. He was ordered to pay £120 by the 4th of March, or undergo three months' imprisonment, and thereupon filed a petition of insolvency. Witness had handed Kenilworth over to his brother, John Browne, of Cambridge, in consideration of an advance of £20, and he further owed hia brother £120 for horses, money lent, &c. Besides this, and £120 due to Mr. Dickey, he owed £14 3s 5d to four other creditors. He had no assets. FILING. A petition of insolvency has been filed by Joshua T. Johns, jam manufacturer, Sey, mour-street, Ponsonby.
