LICENSING ELECTIONS.

The nominations of candidates for a licensing committee for the ensuing year took place to-day, when the following five total prohibitionists were returned unopposed :—John McLean (Caves), Donald McDonald, Murdoch McDonald, Duncan McLean, and William McKenzie. The meeting to elect a chairman takes place next Wednesday week.
