PROPOSED STATUE OF WALLACE.
[by telegraph.—niEss association.] Dunedin, Wednesday. Mr. S. Napier, a visitor from the homo country, who is at present in Dunedin, has offered to give £100 towards the erection of a monument of the Scottish hero, Wallace, if the residents raised from £2000 to £3000 for the purpose.
