MAHURANGI V. PORT ALBERT. The first match of the season was played at Warkworth, in Mr. McMurdo's paddock, on Saturday, the 15th, when the Fort Albert team scored a victory over the Warkworth boys. Owing to the inability of the Gordon Cricket Club to raise a team on Saturday for their match with the Auckland Club, as most of the players will be away for the holidays, the fixture has been postponed by mutual consent until late in the season.
