NEW ZEALAND SHIPPING COMPANY.
ANNUAL MEETING. Received December 19,10.25 p.m.
London, December 19. At the general meeting of the New Zealand Shipping Company to-day, Sir John Gorst, chairman, in moving the adoption of the report and balancesheet, regretted that no dividend was declared this year. The directors, however, believed that the recent changes in the management, and the rise in freights would place the company in a prosperous position. The report was adopted, and the retiring directors reelected.
