New Zealand Hkrald Office. Monday evening. The land sale at Messrs. D. Fi Evans and Co.'s mart drew a large attendance to-day, end the most of the lots offered realised fair prices under spirited competition. Twelve J acres of land at Avondale were passed in at I £'200, as also were a building site in Carlton Gore road, ai £"2 os per foot; villa residence at Mount Albert £175; allotment with coetage at Kingsland, at £<j0: live acres at Avondale for £75. Sales of the following vfcre effected : —Six allotments, each 33, by IGO, at Mount Eden, at 15s per foot, Mr. J. Thompson; allotment at Kingsland, £9 10s, Mr. Kennedy; 3 acres land, South Whau, £4 10s, Mr. Armitage; 40 acres at Takapuna, £12, Mr. Priestley : 5W acres Horotiu parish, Waipa, £ ( J, Mr. Buchanan ; I and lots containing 5£ acres at Takapuna. £28 10s, Mr. Merrick. Messrs. Samuel Cochrane and Son also sold by auction to-day at their mart, Queenstreet, two allotments at Richmond, for £32; house and leasehold allotment (Charlottestreet), New North Road, for t3O. An allotment and two houses in Hardinge-street, was disposed of privately for £900.
