RAIL WA YSTATIONDESTROYED BY FIFE.
[BY TELEGRAPH. —PKES9 ASSOCIATION.] Ciiristchukch, Friday. The railway station at Opawa, on the Lyttelton line, throe miles from Christchurch, was burned down ah five o'clock this morning. The cause of tho firo is not. known. Mr. McCalman, station master, who lives near, w,ih awakened when the station was a mass of flame 3. Nothing was saved. The building's were uninsured. Incendiarism is suspected.
