ARCTIC EXPLORATION.

The expedition which left Labrador some considerable time back, under the command of Lieutenant Wiggins, in order to ascertain whether the Arctic Ocean was navigable, so as to open a route from Labrador to the mouth oi the Yenesei River, Siberia, has turned. Lieutenant Wiggins reports that under the most favourable circumstances it would be impossible for. vessels to reach the northern portion of Asia.
