PRECAUTIONS AGAINST FIRE.
[BY TELEGRAPH.PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Wellington, Thursday. For the better protection of Government Buildings in case of fire, two iron doors are to be placed across each of the long corridors running the length of the building, which it is hoped would isolate the fire in the event of an outbreak.
