THE AUSTRALIAN CRICKETERS.
[PRESS association.] London, September 3. A match was commenced to-day at Harrogate between the Australian Eleven and an eleven of England. The Australians went first to the wicket, but they made a poor, stand, the last wicket falling when 70 runs had been made. Trott, with 27 to bis credit, was the highest scorer. The Englishmen in their first innings, put together 111, and when the stumps were drawn the Australians in their second venture had made 11 runs without the loss of a wicket. In the cricket match the Australians against Eleven England Turner took live wickets for 63, Ferris three for 38, Worrall two for 6.
