[press association.] Wellington, Monday. The second charge of robbery and assault preferred against Moeller has been adjourned owing to the absence of the prosecutor. A warrant has been issued for the arrest of the latter, as it is believed he intended to leave for Melbourne to-day. Christchurch, Monday. Henry Dickson Adams, described as a labourer, was arrested this evening on a telegram from Timaru, on suspicion of having forged three cheques., for £6, £4, and an unknown amount. He states he came from Masterton. Dunedin, Monday. The Minister of Public Works telegraphs that he has arranged to have the Middlemarch section of the Otago Central Railway put in hand immediately for the relief of the unemployed.
