NEW DISEASE AMONG RABBITS.

Wellington, Monday. A new disease has broken out among the rabbits in Southland, resembling scab disease, and which is carrying them off by thousands. Mr. Valentine, M.H.R., manager of the New Zealand Agricultural Company, has sent for some of the diseased rabbits so that they may be examined by the officers of the Stock Department and dissecture carried out.
