MINING EXHIBITS FOR MELBOURNE.
[by TELEGRAPH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT.] Paeroa, Monday. A meeting of the Ohinemuri Mining Exhibits Committee was held at the County Council Chamber, Paeroa, on Saturday evening, Mr. Nicholls, County Chairman, presided. Present: Messrs. Wilson (Inspector), Adam Porter, Rhodes, Robson, Kenny, Littlejohn, and Edwards. It was reported that the following exhibits were being prepared to go to Melbourne :—From Waihi : Walker's, 1 ton. Karangahake: Woodstock, scwt; Kenilworth, scwt rubbly quartz, and scwt silver ore ; Crown, scwt ; Ivanhoe, 2cwt; Standard, 2cwt; Marototo Prospectors, 2cwt ; Silver Queen, 2cwt. Owharoa : Smile of Fortune, lewt. Waitekauri: Saxon, lewt; Jubilee, lewt ; Whangamata, lewt; Tui, oewt galena, scwt silver ore ; Tui Extended, scwt carbonate of lead ; Ruakaka, lewt; Colonist, scwt; New Find, scwt; Mount Aroha, 1 ton.
