[press association.] London, August 2. The cricket match Australians against eleven South of England has been abandoned, and the Australians will play an English eleven at Hastings instead. Owing to rain it was impossible to begin the game to-day. The eleven of England team to meet the Australian eleven at Hastings includes Hall, Peel, and Pougher, otherwise the team is considered weak.
