In the match against Cambridge, past and present, the Australians made 319 runs in the first innings, the following being the principal scorers :—Bannerman (not out, 93), Bonnor (78), Edwards (36), Jarvis (33), Ferris (10). Lucas took two wickets. At the close of the day's play Cambridge in the second innings had scored 22 without the loss of a wicket. Five thousand spectators were present during the day.
