ALLEGED IMMORALITY IN PUBLIC SCHOOLS.
[BY TELEGRAPH. —press association. Wellington, Wednesday. The Education Board to-day considered the articles published in recent issues of the New Zealand Mail and Times, alleging immorality in the public schools. All the members expressed an opinion that the allegations were untrue, and were a gross libel on the community. It was resolved, " That in the opinion of the Board the articles under discussion, have absolutely no foundation in fact, so far as the Wellington education district is concerned, and the Board very much regrets . that the -proprietor of the New " Zealand Times and Mail declines to furnish the Board with the alleged information upon which the articles were founded."
