THE BROKEN CABLE.
[BY TELEOUAPH.— -PHESS ASSOCIATION.] Wellington, Monday. It is expected that the Sherard Osborne will complete the mending of the single cable to-day. The sea is smooth at present, and should it remain so ordinary communication will be restored this evening.
