Gisborne, Wednesday. At a largely attended and enthusiastic meeting held in the Wesleyan Church last evening, it was unanimously decided on proceeding with the erection of a new church and parsonage in Gisborne.

Paeroa, Wednesday. Mr. A. J. Cadman, M.H.R., is still making strenuous efforts to constitute a Warden's Court at Paeroa, and has persuaded the Minister of Justice to re-consider the matter. It is now probable that it will be granted.
