London, Juno 19. , In the match Australian team versus the Gentlemen of England, the visitors in their first innings scored 297, the highest scorers being Bonner 73, McDonnell 67, Worrall 46, and Trott 37. Grace took six wickets. The gentlemen in their second innings have lost seven wickets for 74, Docker 15, Peel 11, and Bainbridge 10 being the principal scores. Turner took four wickets and Ferris three. The bowling of the Australians was excellent, and was much admired. A good wicket had been prepared. The following is the Marylebone C.C. team to play against the Australians : —W. G. Grace, Steel, Key, Chuter, Vernon, Paravinci, Gunn, Barnes, Flowers, Attewell, and Sherwin.
