Thames, Monday. The services at St. George's Church, yesterday, in aid of getting up a memorial to the late Captain Wildman, wore largely attended. Both Volunteer Bands took part in . the choral service with great success. The Rev. C. M. Nelson preached both morning and evening. The collections amounted to £20 2s. - ; At a special meeting of tho County Council, this evening, the necessary formalities were gone through for raising the balance of the £12,000 loan for roads and other public works, viz., £6600,
