VOLUNTEER INTELLIGENCE.

On Saturday afternoon a match was fired on the North Shore Range, by the Ponsonby Naval Artillery—Married ▼. Single. The ranges were 200, 300, and 500 yards ; 5 shots at each range. The firing at the first two ranges, though not very accurate, was closo—only some 14 points separating the aggregates of the competitors. Owing to tho lateness of the hour of starting only four men fired at the 500 yards. The light was very bad, and therefore, not favourable for good shooting. The scores made at each range, with the totals, are as follow : —
