SERIOUS ACCIDENT TO MR. BURNS.
A somewhat serious accident occurred yesterday morning at Epsom to Mr. Burns, of Wingato, Burns and Co. Between seven and eight o'clock he went to catch a horse in a paddock for the purpose of coming to town. When ho was gotting hold of the horse it lashed out, inflicting a very nasty wound. Mr. Burns was cub very severely about the mouth. Dr. Lewis was summoned and stitched up the wound, and Mr. Burns was last night progressing favourably. Ho had a narrow escape with his life.
