A CURIOUS ACCIDENT.
[BY TELEGRAPH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT.] Te Awamutu, Monday. A cußiors accident occurred on Friday evening to a labourer named Thomas Jones at this place. With two others ho lived in a small house, and returning home from work after dark, groping his way about the hearth for a light, he fell on a spot where some grease had been spilt, and broke his leg. His cries brought the neighbours to his assistance, and the leg having been set by Dr. Pearman he was sent to tho Waikato Hospital at Hamilton.
