TO THE EDITOR.
Sir, The defeated candidates are putting themselves and the people of City North, City East, and City South to a great deal of unnecessary trouble and expense with regard to local option. As one of the Licensing Committee in the three districts, and as Chairman of City North, I can safely say the committees are fully determined not to grant any new licenses in either district; that the people may rest assured of.— am, &c., James P.
