The popular outburst of devotion to the Empress at Posen is likely to accentuate the difference between the Emperor and Prince Bismarck. ' Berlin, April 11. Petitions are being drawn up and public meetings are being held in favour of urging the Emperor to retain Prince Bismarck as Chancellor of the Empire. The Empress had two hours' interview with Prince Bismarck to-day, but the nature of the interview has not been disclosed.
