WAITAKERI
TO THE EDITOR.
Sro,—Now that there is a likelihood of 'the Waitakerei Falle being made accessible to the public I beg to aay that the lower fall on the Nihotupu river is one of the Grandest and most magnificent falls in New ealand. Few, if any, tourists have seen this wild and fearful-looking place, which is somewhere about one mile from the Breakneck fail, but inaccessible to touriata. 1 venture to hope that this grand sight will be thrown open to the public. A path of a lew feet wide would open up this fall, and a wire ladder for Breakneck fall, and then there is within reach of the citizens of Auckland—almost in the suburbs—scenery second to none on the face of the earth.—l am, &c, .
