CITY DUST CART.
TO THE EPITOR. SiE, —On entering Queen-street this morning, I was smothered in dust from two men sweeping the channelling at 9 o'clock. Now this is beyond a joke. All this kind of work should be done and over by 8 a.m., and the street made clean and tidy for pedestrians, but I suppose it is only part and parcel of the slipshod fashion in which the Council does its work. Let this hint be taken, as " it's never too late to mend." I am, Aα, Business. April 6,1888.
