ABBOTTS OPERA HOUSE.
" Little Jack Sheppabd" was repeated for the last time last night to a well-attended house, and to-night a change of programme will take place. " Dick" is the new production, a comio opera written by Alfred Murray, the music by Edward Jakobowski, and is founded on the tale of Whittington and his cat. Tho scenic effects are described as being on die most elaborate scale. Mis? Robina plays the role of Dick Whittington, and Mr. Brough that of Alderman Fitzwarron. The cast appears to tie an excellent one, and the performance should be on a par with that of "Jack Sheppard" for excellence and in regard to details.
