THE BROKEN CABLE.
[BY TELEGRAPH. —PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Wellington, Thursday. The Government have arranged with the Eastern Extension Cable Company for the use of their repairing steamer to repair the Cook Strait cable. She leaves Singapore for New Zealand in a few days.
