ON THE CROZETS.
CASTAWAYS ON THE ISLANDS.
[PRESS ASSOCIATION.]
Perth, March 28. The report of the castaways being on the Crozet Islands has been confirmed. The Governor has received a telegram from the French Government stating that they sent a vessel to the place, and found that the sailors had landed, and had left an inscription stating that their provisions were exhausted, and that they had removed to another island some distance off. The vessel did not find them, and it is surmised that they have been picked up by a passing ship.
