SACK RACE FOR ONE HUNDRED POUNDS.
[by TELEGRAPH. PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Greymodth, Saturday. A sack race between Austin of Oamaru, and Kennard of Brunnerton, for £100, came off at Taylorville this afternoon, and proved an easy victory for Austin. The hundred yards was run in 19$ sec. Kennard then chose three hundred yards, which Austin alao won. Time, G7&sec.
