The ordinary meeting of the Star of Auckland Lodge, Mo. 26, 1.0.0. F., was held last evening at the Lodgeroom, New Zealand Insurance Buildings, and was of a more than ordinary interesting character. Apart from the usual business, the installation of officer., for the ensuing term took place, and the auditors' report, on the statement of accounts, was mad. The accounts showed that the sick and benevolent funds had fairly increased during the past six months, and the auditors were able to congratulate the lodge on its position to be of assistance to its members when necessary, and to con* tlnue the useful and laudable work for which Oddfellowship iti established. In the installation ceremony, Bro. P.G. Keesing officiated as Grand Master, Bro. P.G. Falconer as Grand Marshal, Bro. P.G Knight as Grand Treasurer, Bro,. P.G. Harvey as Grand Secretary, Bro. P.G. Armiger as Grand Warden, and Bro. McCalaky as Grand Guardian. The elected officers were For. N.G., Bro. Pigijott (re-elected); for V.G., Bro. Burohell; for P.S., Bro. Pitt (reelected); for ,R.S. t Bro. Cornish, and. for Treasurer, Bro." Neumegen (re-elected); who were duly installed, and decorated with the regalia of their offices by the Grand Master, in an impressive and instructive! manner. The appointed officers were as follows :—Wardon, Bro. Knight; Conductor, - Bro. Harvey; R.S. to N.G., Bro. R. Armiger, junior; L.S. to N.G., Bro. W. Armiger; R.S. to V.G., Bro. McCulsky; L.S. to N.G., Bro. J. T. Callings ;■ R. 5.8., Bro. Fell; L.S.S., Bro. Fowler and Bro. Falconer. The Grand Master, in addressing the Lodge, complimented the retiring officers; on the manner in whioh they had performed , their duties, and felt satisfied their succos> sors would, prove equally efficient.
