BANKRUPTCY.
Roblbt Neal.—A largely attended meeting of creditors in the estate of Robert Neal whs held at the Official Assignee's office yesterday afternoon. After the bankrupt's sworm statement had been read, Mr. S. Heaketh, tlie debtor's solicitor, offered the creditors 6e 6d in the pound, payable in two, four, and six months. After some discussion Mr. H. Brown moved, "That the estate be wound «up within three months, for the benefit of the creditors by two supervisors." This was seconded by Mr. Ivey. Mr. J. Lamb moved an amendment, " That the debtor's offer of 6s 6d in the pound be accepted; Messrs. Carr and Brown being appointed supervisors until the conclusion of the bankruptcy." This was seconded, but was lost on being put to the meeting, and the original motion was carried. The supervisors' remuneration was fixed as provided by the second schedule of the Bankruptcy Act. A meeting of creditors in the estate of H. Hayward lapsed for want of a quorum.
