ACTION AGAINST AN ASSURANCE COMPANY.
[BY TELEGRAPH. —PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Wellington, Monday. At the Supreme Court to-day, the case Scott v. the Accident Asauranco Association of New Zealand was partially heard. The plaintiff is Emily Dallen Scott, widow of the late Was. John Scott, who died in September last from injuries sustained through falling down stairs at the Central Hotel, of which he was licensee, and the action is brought to recover from the Accident Assurance Association of New Zealand the sum of £1000, being the amount of the policy issued by that corporation.
