NEWTON GRAMMAR SCHOOL SPORTS

These sports were held in the Domain yesterday. The weather was delightfully cool, and the different events were keenly contested. The prizes were valuable and handsome. The school cup was a beautiful piece of workmanship, and was purchased at Messrs. T. and 8. Aiorrin's. The parents of the pupils and friends subscribed liberally, as well as presented valuable prizes for competition. The following are the events and results : — Handicap (lOOyda).
