VITAL STATISTICS. The following are the vital statistics for the undermentioned boroughs during the month of November
Deaths of persons not residents of boroughs occurring at hospitals have been excluded in all cases. The total birthß in the above boroughs amounted to 495, against 488 in October, an increase of 17. The deaths in November were 139, a decrease of 17 on the number for October, Of the total deaths males contributed 6S, and females 71. Fifty nine of the deaths were of children under five years of age, being 42 '45 per cent, of the whole number. Forty-nine of these were of children under one year of age.
