PONSONEY WARD ELECTION.

TO THE EDITOR. Sir,— believe there are three candidates now out for this ward to represent the seat vacated by Mr. Devore's promotion. As two of them are entire strangers to me, I should like very much if the three would arrange to meet the ratepayers in Ponsonby Hall some night early, and give expression to their views on municipal matters. By that means I and other ratepayers would become acquainted with the several candidates, and judge of their respective merit.— I am, &0., Ponsonby Ratepayer.
