The tracks were again in capital order this morniug, and work waa commenced at an early hour, in the presence of a fair number of spectators. Nelson and Waitiri did a capital gallop twice round the tan, completing the last circuit in Imin 58sec, and pulling up well. Derringer did a long alow canter on the grass, pulled hard all the way, Tasman, after going over round the plough slow, was joined by Rubina, and accomplished another round last, both horses doing a good performance. Torrent and Disowned covered a couple of miles at half pace, moving very fairly, and pulling hard all the way. Itepo and Alpine Rose, with rugs, were Bent two miles and a half on the plough, the Derby colt moving better than his companion. Pasha, who went better than he did on the previous occasion, did slow work on the tan. Fog, Rocket, and Longwaist, were cantered a mile, and then went round at top speed. Titbit finished two and a half miles fast, and walked a little stiffly. Artillery went twice round the grass, the second round at a good pace, and finished strongly. Fusillade covered two miles and a half on the tan at half speed, and Moana and Ike did a slow three miles on the tan. Lochiel went went twice round at a fair pace, and pulled up sound, but is quite light enough. Formo spurted along on the grass. Patrician and Cremorne went two and a half miles at a good pace, finishing fast. The former held his own throughout. ——.——■——.^—^—^
