NEW SOUTH WALES LOAN.
Irecter's TELEGRAM. London, July 16. Tendebs for the New South Wales loan of £5,500,000, bearing interest at 3£ per cent., were opened to-day. The minimum was fixed at 94. The total amount offered was seventeen and a half millions. Tenderers at £95 7s 6d will receive 38 per cent., and those above that price in full. A Press Association message says the loan was covered at £95 6s to £95 7s. A syndicate tendered for two-thirds of the amount at £95 5s 3d. About 1500 tenders were received covering seventeen millions. One syndicate tendered for £5,370,000 at £95 7s 6d. Tenderers at the latter price will receive 38 per cent. [PBESS ASSOCIATION.! London, July 17. The average of the New South Wales loan was £95 8s 3d. The price of the loan to-day is quoted at £95 12s 6d.
