A meeting of the members of the Australian Mutual Provident Society was held last night, when the proposal of the Board to open a branch in London was condemned by 120 votes to 8. NO-CONFIDENCE MOTION REJECTED Adelaide, June 4. The discussion on the no-confidence motion was concluded in the Assembly last night, when, on a division being taken, the motion was rejected by a majority of eight. SYDNEY MARKETS. " Sydney, June 4. New Zealand wheat is worth 4s 3d per bushel; New Zealand oats, 3s 5d ; maize, per 561bs, 3s sd. The Sugar Company's best No. 1 pieces have advanced to £20 per ton. ADELAIDE MARKETS. Adelaide, June 4. Shipping wheat is ss; town flour, £11 10s to £11 17s 6d; country brands £10 to £10 10s. THE ALAMEDA. , Sydney, June 4. Arrived, this afternoon: The Alameda, with the inward San Francisco mail. THE S.S. DORIC. Hobart, June 4. The s.s. Doric arrived last night from London, all well.
