THE WELLINGTON EXHIBITION.

[BY telegraph,—press association.] Wellington, Sunday. The Exhibition waa crowded all yesterday, and last night about 3000 were present to hear the Oaniaru band, which la the first competition contest. Their playing waa much admired and loudly applauded. After the Exhibition had been open for a couple of hours in the evening it was found necessary to refuse further admission, and hundreds were turned away. A project is on foot to open the Exhibition every night.
