Competitive Designs are invited for a Building to be erected on the Government Reserve, corner of Customs and Albert Streets. Auckland, suitable for the aero moduion of th Customs, Land, and Native Departments ot that city. The cost of the Building is not to exceed twelve thousand pound/; sterin* (£12,000). No plan will be approved until the tender for it is accepted, and the tender will be only accepted after the expenditure is authorised by Parliament. A premium of one hundred pounds (£100) will be given for the plan approved, which will then become the property of the Government. The Government will not necessarily tie bound to employ the same Architect on the construction of the Building. The Government Reserve is two hundred and fifty links (250 links) facing Customs-street, and one hundred and twenty-five links (125 links) te Albert-street. The designs are to be addressed to the Commissioner of Customs, Wellington, and to be sent in on or before the let Jun-, 18S5.
