Christohurch, Wednesday. The annual report of the directors of the Tramway Company ahowud' r. aurplus of £1830. It has been do. Ed to place £1518 to temporary reserve acctt y, and issue 4928 new shares among the pre£rat shareholders. The directors were empowered to transfer from the reserve fund from time to time amounts equal to 14s per share on existing shares when new shares are issued, so that practically each shareholder on paying 6s will receive a new share, 20s paid up. The weather continues gloomy, with heavy showers, and little indication of a change for the better. Harvest operations have now been at a standstill for over a week. It is reported that in many cases the wheat has commenced to sprout.
