THE FIRE IN ST. GEORGE'S BAY.

. TO THE EDITOR. Sir.—l wish to contradict the assertion of Mr. Forman, in your issue of to-day, respecting the late, fire in St. George's Bay. The person* whom he..heard .about the beach late were owners of a yacht, who were floating their boat out after cleaning, and unconnected, with the club in any way, and they state that on leaving thejoeach, at halfpast eleven p m., no signs of fire were visible.—l am, &c., Harold W. Hcdson, Capt. St.G.R.C.
