FOOTBALL TEAM FOR SYDNEY.
[BY TELEGRAPH.—-PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Christchdroh, Monday. At a meeting of the Canterbury Rugby ' Union to-night it was decided to contribute pro-rata to the expenses incurred in sending a combined New Zealand football team to Sydney (over and above those guaranteed by " the Sydney Union). The guarantee to be on the basis of the aumber of men contributed to the-team by Canterbury. The following hare been selected: —W. Millton, E. Millton, C. Dauvevgne,' and G, H. Helmore.
At a meeting of the Match Committee of the Auckland Kugby Union Football Associntion last evening the following players were selected as the Auckland contingent in the forthcoming Intercolonial Matches at Sydney :—Messrs. R., Whiteside, T. O'Connor, J. Warbrick, and T. Ryan. The eelection of the fifth man is tinder consideration.
